Welcome to our vineyard and winery!
GREETINGS FROM MAURY ISLAND WINERY
Celebrating 17 years of award-winning wines from our estate vineyard
It’s that wonderful time of year again! Time to come enjoy our wines under the arbor surrounded by the vines that produced them. Our wine tasting season runs from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. It’s all by appointment (see our visit page) so tastings are private and in the company of the winemaker who will answer all your questions.
We have been growing wine grapes on our property on the north shore of Maury Island since 1980 and now have approximately one and a half acres of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. This summer we are pouring three wines: Our 2023 Pinot Noir (Silver Medal, Seattle Wine Awards), our 2022 Pinot Noir (Gold Medal Cascadia International Competition, Silver Medal Seattle Wine Awards) and our 2023 Cremant de Maury sparkling rose (Silver Medal, Seattle Wine Awards). Needless to say, we are very proud of our wines and look forward to pouring them for you this summer.
For those of you who are not familiar with our wines, we are a small, family owned and operated vineyard and winery within the Puget Sound American Viticultural Area (AVA) dedicated to producing high quality estate-grown wines. Founded in 2008, we grow several clones of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, producing about 120 cases per year of Pinot Noir and a traditional Champagne method sparkling rosé we call Crémant de Maury. In 2021 we added half an acre of Chardonnay vines and we look forward to serving some nice white wines before too long.
We are also now able to ship wine to nearly every state. To order wines available for shipping, visit our Store page. And if you would like to be added to our mailing list to receive updates regarding new wine releases, upcoming events, etc., just add your email address below.
Cheers!
Bill and Jan Riley
